Dell 7420 Drivers

Released in May 2021, the Latitude 7420 laptop model by Dell is one of the most popular business laptops in the U.S. this year. You can download the latest driver pack for this model by filling in the Captcha at the bottom of this page. Once you complete the Captcha successfully, you can press the Download button and the driver pack download will automatically start.

It’s important to note that modern laptop models, including Dell 7420, are usually compatible with the latest OS versions only. That being said, the Dell 7420 model is compatible with the following operating systems: Ubuntu 20.04, Windows 10, and Windows 11. Unfortunately, this means that Dell 7420 does not support any older OS versions such as Windows 7 or Windows 8, so there are no drivers for these versions.

The driver pack on this page was officially released by Dell in 2023, and it contains the latest drivers for the following components:

• Chipset drivers (Intel Management Engine Components Installer, [...] Realtek Memory Card Reader Driver)
• Communication drivers (Dell Wireless 5821e Firmware and GNSS Driver, Dell Wireless 5829e Firmware and GNSS Driver) 
• Docks drivers (Realtek USB Audio DCH Driver, Realtek USB GBE Ethernet Controller Driver)
• Input driver (Intel HID Event Filter Driver)
• Network drivers (Intel Wi-Fi UWD Driver, Intel Bluetooth UWD Driver)
• Security driver (Dell ControlVault3 Driver and Firmware)
• Storage driver (Intel Rapid Storage Technology Driver and Application)
• Video driver (Intel UHD/Iris Xe Graphics Driver). 

Once the file from our page is downloaded, all you have to do is unzip the folder (right-click and Extract/Unzip), and then choose the corresponding folder. You will see that there are separate files for Windows 10 and Windows 11. Keep in mind that installing drivers that are not compatible with your device can cause severe malfunction, so it’s best to install drivers that are specifically released for your OS. 

When you find a suitable file, simply double-click the file to run the Setup Wizard. Follow the Setup Wizard instructions and once the setup is finished, restart your Dell 7420 to ensure that everything has been updated and is working properly.
