Installing the Realtek Microphone Driver
Kindly scroll to the bottom of this page, complete the Captcha, and download the files. The downloaded files will be zipped. Unzip the folder by right-clicking on it and selecting the Unzip or Extract option.
The downloaded files will contain Windows and Linux subfolders. Carefully select the dedicated folder that is compatible with the operating system that you're on. It's important to note that Realtek doesn't offer official support for MacOS yet.
Windows users will find an executable file to run by double-clicking on it. On the other hand, Linux users need to access the tar archive via the Terminal (Ctrl + Alt + T). Use the cd command to access the file location, and then extract the files with the tar xjf command. Follow up with /.configure to allow making changes to the software, and finish with the make and sudo make install commands to execute the setup.
